1. World's First Androgynous Skincare Brand

Physical and mental health are, ultimately, the happiness formula. By becoming the first Androgynous skincare brand, we brought awareness to genders division and inequality. Through promoting an inclusive world from the beginning, where tolerance, acceptance lead to a more balanced society we believe that along the years we've become a vehicle and voice for wellness by bringing people together where gender differences are celebrated and not a means for division. After all, a more balanced society should be the aim/goal of all human actions, at all times. 

2. Equilibrium

We believe in the equilibrium of resources and live by the fact that just because it’s natural, it doesn’t mean it is safe and just because it’s human-made, doesn’t mean it’s harmful. Being science lovers and nature oriented, we created innovative formulas that combine active natural, organic and botanical ingredients with the best synthetics and human-created active ingredients & peptides, to give you the best of both worlds. We designed & created products that mean equilibrium.

3. Packaging

In our packaging design decisions we decided to choose the best options available. For the primary packaging: Violet Mirron Glass with unique characteristics that filter out damaging rays of the visible light spectrum and allow portions of the UVA and infrared light waves in, keeping the products inside fresher for a longer period of time while being 100% recyclable and 100% reusable for storing spices and other fresh herbs (teas). For the secondary packaging, we decided to choose polypropylene - yes, plastic! It was designed by Diana herself to protect the product during its shipping process to you and the beauty of it and the main message lies in you. The fact that no one has the will to throw it out, so far, but reuse it first, just like it was designed to be, is the goal of any designer.  To make the user think of ways to reuse the packaging before it gets recycled. It is extremely important that in a world of disposables, we extend the life of our most mundane objects by reusing them.

4. Not so fast-beauty

Great things take time. There is no such thing for us as "fashion ingredients", changing formulas each season. We took several years to develop great products, a perfect synergetic combination of ingredients and proudly stand by our products until the end of times - or at least, until the end of grapes! Grape-seed oil will be forever our key ingredient in all products, and we have a very good reason for it. As everything in life, and skin and self-care are no exceptions to it, consistency is key and we had a pinch of sustainability to make everything even better.

5. PETA Cruelty Free & Vegan

We don't believe this statement should be something to describe us, but something to bring awareness to. Being Cruelty free is already mandatory in the EU but there are several countries that are still in the process to become part of the cruelty free movement and as such, we want to keep bringing awareness to the subject to animal cruelty - and in all industries, not only in cosmetics.

6. "Walden, per silvam / Through the Woods"

We all have our own causes to support in life and very often we ask ourselves if the money we give to certain causes actually go to support those causes. That being said, our founder decided to make things a little bit different. For each sold product, Diana, her self, will plant a tree in Portugal and send you a notification of it. It is also important to understand that the planting a tree movement is by product and not by Order as we believe it is important to link every consumption action to a reaction towards the planet. Planting a tree is done on the following year of your purchase around March.

7. Bat Conservation International members

Bats have been on Earth for more than 50 million years. With more than 1,400 species, they are the second largest order of mammals, and are widely dispersed across six continents. Globally, bats provide vital ecosystem services in the form of insect pest consumption, plant pollination, and seed dispersal, making them essential to the health of global ecosystems. Today, bats are under unprecedented threat from widespread habitat destruction, hunting, accelerated climate change, invasive species, and other stresses. Without concerted international action, their populations will continue to fall, driving many species to extinction.

For each online sale on our website, one euro goes to - An International Bat Conservation organization that we proudly became members of. 

8. Information equals sustainable decisions

#RewireBeauty promotes responsible consumption by fighting the misinformation in the beauty industry and tackles the fast beauty movement - launching delayed to 2021. Transparent information in a world of misinformation is the foundation for educated buying decisions and ultimately, sustainable and responsible consumption patterns in the beauty industry. 

9. Beauty is Cultural, Skincare is Humanist

Beauty is diversity and diversity is beauty. All photos that feature models will not be altered to portray an certain ideal of "beauty". We believe in transparency, henceforth all featured models use our products as part of their skincare regimen. It wouldn't make any sense otherwise.

10. Time as a sustainable measure

We believe we shouldn’t be spending one hour a day to get ready in the morning, because that’s about, on average, 500 days of our entire lives. What if your daily care routine was 15 minutes & the other 45 minutes were spent doing what you love the most? What if you had excellent skincare products with simple but potent ingredients that can also be versatile? What if your favorite skincare products won't be discontinued and replaced by “fast-beauty” products? What if there was a skincare that would never fail you your entire life & learns to understand you and your skin’s needs as your life changes/challenges you? We took that “What if” as an inspiration and something to aim for and transformed it into reality with a collection of 16 timeless products.

11. Value & Fair Pricing

Value is a very subject thing as it depends on who's evaluating. While we hope you see value in our products, fair pricing is what we aim for to keep the economical and financial sustainability levels healthy so we keep providing you with the best products and make a difference in the beauty industry. Therefore, extreme discounts promoting a fast-beauty movement won't be part of our policy.
